The Easter holiday is a great time for the family and friends to gather to socialize and have traditional activities. Easter baskets are a tradition that has been passed down for many years. Small children gather with the rest of the family and bring their baskets for a special Easter egg hunt. The older people in the family usually color eggs with special dyes for the occasion and the Easter egg hunt. Some families include the small children in coloring the eggs. The older people then hide the eggs around the family yard or inside the home. They try to hide these in great places so the children will find them with excitement.

The whole family watches the small children get their Easter baskets ready for the Easter egg hunt. Many of the people in the family wear their best clothes, and the children are excited because they have special clothes for the family gathering. They also have their baskets on their arms so they have a place for their eggs when they find them. Most children want to find the prettiest eggs, and they usually want to find more eggs than the other children for their Easter baskets.

Easter Baskets Are Available in the Stores

Easter baskets provide great excitement for small children. Some parents work with their children so they can make their own baskets with materials from a good craft store. Children can make the baskets from a variety of materials, or they can buy a basket and decorations. The children can decorate their Easter baskets with the traditional symbols of Easter which include bunnies and eggs. The baskets are also in the traditional colors of Easter. The colors are usually pastel shades of pink, yellow, blue and green.

The Easter baskets become very useful at the egg hunt. The Easter baskets can be made from a variety of materials. The basket could be made from cloth or straw. The Easter basket can be a variety of sizes depending on the taste and size of the child. Small children rush about the yard or house to find the colorful eggs that have been hidden. They find each egg and place it into the basket until all the eggs are gone from the yard. Some Easter baskets can be purchased all ready filled with Easter candy and colored eggs. The Easter baskets can make a great gift for this wonderful holiday season.
